Pokemon GO December 2023 Community Day Guide

The December 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day is a celebration of this year in Pokemon GO and includes appearances from all of the featured ‘Mon from every Community Day event this year!

Usually, Pokemon GO Community Days feature one or two Pokemon, but every December, there are far more Pokemon featured. To be exact, all of the Pokemon that were featured in Community Day and Community Day Classic events from January to November 2023 will be making an appearance.

Plus, the December 2023 Community Day will go across both Saturday and Sunday.

Here’s everything you need to know about the event!

December 2023 Community Day Date & Time

The December 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day event is running from 2 PM to 5 PM local time on both Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, December 17, 2023.

There will be a different selection of Pokemon spawning in the wild on both days, so be sure to play on Saturday and Sunday!

Bonuses

The December 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day will feature a range of in-game bonuses:

2x XP for catching Pokemon 2x Stardust for catching Pokemon 2x Candy for catching Pokemon 2x chance to receive XL Candy from catching Pokemon (trainers level 31 and up) 1/2 Hatch Distance when placing Eggs into Incubators during the event Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours Incense activated during the event will last for three hours One additional Special Trade can be made, for a maximum of two per day (active from 9 AM to 9 PM on both days) Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust (active from 9 AM to 9 PM on both days) Pokemon GO November 2023 Wooper and Paldean Wooper Community Day Wild Spawns

All of the Pokemon that were featured in Community Day and Community Day Classic events this year will be spawning in the wild during the December 2023 Community Day.

Every featured attack from the 2023 Pokemon GO Community Days will be available to get, which is excellent for players who may have missed out earlier on in the year.

This includes a number of power attacks like Dragon Breath for Charizard, Breaking Swipe for Haxorus, and Hydro Cannon for Greninja.

Greninja Hydro Cannon Pokemon GO Research

The December 2023 Pokemon GO Community Day will feature Timed Research to earn Evolution Items and encounters with featured Community Day Pokemon from both 2022 and 2023.

All Pokemon GO players will also be able to pick up limited-time Field Research Tasks to earn encounters with 2023 Community Day featured ‘Mon.

Additionally, players can purchase the December 2023 Community Day Special Research Story for $1 (or local currency equivalent). The rewards for this Research have not been confirmed yet, but expect plenty of encounters with featured Pokemon!
